local MVS dataset not found

Co:Z sftp-server version: 1.2.5

If I do a lcd to a mvs dataset I get file not found
sftp> lcd //SYS1
FOTS0829 Couldn't change local directory to "//SYS1": EDC5129I No such file or directory.
Doing a CD //SYS1 works fine.
sftp> pwd
Remote working directory: //SYS1
I'm SSHing from 1 lpar to another, have tried it both ways same result.

Any guesses?

Are you using the CO:Z SFTP client? (command "cozsftp"). If you are using the "sftp" command, this is the IBM version, which doesn't support datasets.
