Which SFTP command replaces 'locsite trail' on normal ftp ?

Post by LeonBylsma »

Hello again,

When using normal ftp we used a command "locsite trail" to retain trailing blank spaces that exisists on the Zos file on the mainframe to be passed to a linux box in this case. What is the equivalent command using CoZ SFTP to retain the trailing spaces on a file. I tried to use "lzopts mode=text" to send the file and then the trainling spaces are not sent to linux. The mainframe file format is LRECL=80 and RECFM=FB ...

You can use the "notrim" option to prevent trailing pad characters from being trimmed.

Thank you so much, I somehow missed the notrim parameter and it worked like a charm ... Regards :D
