Co:Z hasn't been specifically tested under AIX, but the target system code is pretty straightforward. Try downloading the sources:

http://www.dovetail.com/downloads/coz/c ... 0.7.tar.gz

and do a build:

http://www.dovetail.com/docs/coz/install_unix_gnu.html

We'd be interested in any AIX related feedback

The Co:Z Toolkit for z/OS only requires a target system package for using the Co:Z Launcher or remote Dataset Pipes on the target system (e.g. AIX).

Co:Z SFTP is a z/OS only product, and does not require a Co:Z package on the remote system; it is compatible with SSH/SFTP implementations on most platforms, including AIX.

So, to use the Co:Z Launcher or remote Dataset Pipes with AIX, you will need to install the target system toolkit on AIX. We don't currently offer a pre-built binary for AIX, but you can build on AIX from the source distribution. If you have any issues building on AIX, please post a question here.

If you are interested in getting a commercial support for Co:Z to include AIX, please contact us at info@dovetail.com
