FYI - if you get the new release (1.7.7) and enable debug-level logging for Co:Z server, it will print a message that indicates your *actual* REGION size.
To enable, add this to your sftp-server.rc profile:
export COZ_LOG=D

We tried the transfer of the dummy files without the CZCHKCMD.
Without the exit it worked properly.
In conclusion we tested the transfer with the dummy files with normal FTP/FTPs and we also got the error (same source of the exit).
On investigation we found out that the FREEMAIN not properly worked. The exit is a customized copy of SYS1.SEZAINST(FTCHKANO).
In that source the &GETLEN what is used for FREEMAIN was 0...
We fixed that, testet again and that's it.
