Co:Z SFTP use of cryptographic coprocessor

Post by rmogondovetailedtech »

We've recently replaced a z800 with a z114 that has a cryptographic coprocessor, but we're not seeing any performance improvement in file transfers with Co:Z SFTP. We've reviewed Dovetailed's documentation, but just want to verify: is there a configuration setting for Co:Z SFTP that make is use the coprocessor?

Thanks!

All cryptography is done by IBM Ported Tools OpenSSH (or z/OS V2R2 OpenSSH).

See this page for the IBM Ported Tools "Quick Install" guide for your release.
This has information on enabling ICSF for hardware accelerated cryptography.
