Since the install to Co:Z SFTP version: 5.5.0, we're receiving the following message when trying to transfer a mainframe file to a remote user:
ICH408I USER(xxxx ) GROUP(PROD ) NAME(PROD ID - SYS SUPP )
CL(FSOBJ )
INSUFFICIENT AUTHORITY TO SOCKET
Using Co:Z SFTP version: 4.2.0, the Insufficient Authority message does not appear.
This does not affect the successful execution of the job but we did notice under 5.5 while running the debug, it appears to be using local-port=0.
Connection established, local_addr=xx.xx.xx.81 local_port=0 remote_addr=xx.xx.xx.50 remote_port=22
The same connection message under 4.2 displays:
Connection established, local_addr=xx.xx.xx.134 local_port=26876 remote_addr=xx.xx.xx.50 remote_port=22
Any help would be appreciated.
Insufficient Authority to Socket
Re: Insufficient Authority to Socket
If you have an Enterprise License and Support agreement, please open a ticket.
This looks to be an issue with the installation process.
It appears that your "ssh-socket-info" program is not setup properly.

Re: Insufficient Authority to Socket
Thank you for the suggestion to re-install the release. That has resolved the issue.
