Intermittent failures in batch SFTP with :-
FOTS1824 PRNG seed extraction failed
FOTS1945 ssh-rand-helper child produced insufficient data
[57.623] Connection closed
Rerun a couple of times and it works ...
Anyone seen this before?

Co:Z SFTP uses IBM Ported Tools OpenSSH (specifically, the "ssh" command) for its network connection.
This message is from Ported Tools ssh, and indicates an error from the "ssh-rand-helper" process. See the Ported Tools User's guide for more information.

The best thing you can do, if you can, is to set up ICSF to generate your random numbers. See "Using hardware support to generate random numbers" in the Ported Tools User's guide for more information.
