Password Phrases
Can the Co:Z SFTP server use RACF password phrases(14-100 characters in length)? Is a particular release of Co:Z required? We are 1.7.2.
Co:Z SFTP Server doesn't do *any* kind of authentication.
Authentication (keys, passwords, etc) is done by IBM Ported Tools for z/OS OpenSSH.
I can find no indication in the IBM Ported Tools OpenSSH User's Guide (1.2) that indicates whether RACF passphrases are supported, and I haven't tried these myself.
My only suggestion would be to try it and/or open an ETR with IBM.
If it works with IBM Ported Tools OpenSSH, then it will work when Co:Z SFTP Server is invoked under OpenSSH.
