pdsdir ispf stats error?

Post by john.mckown »

It appears to me that the pdsdir command is printing ISPF statistics incorrectly. In particular, it appears that it is rendering the last day of the month, for example 11/30/2012, as the 0th day of the next month, e.g. 12/00/2012. The date is displayed correction on the ISPF option 2 screen.

John,

Thanks for reporting this. We've found and fixed the problem - it will be available in our next release.

Thanks. It definitely made me go "What???" when I first saw it. And likely wouldn't have if I hadn't "gone insane" recently by using Co:Z Hybrid batch to do backups of some PDSes to my Linux desktop. I did this so that I can use "git" there to do some "version control" tracking on them. Which we in z/OS tech services don't really do very well. Of course, the thought of using CA-Endevor (our z/OS SCM product) to maintain PARMLIB is enough to make me run in terror.
