In the Share Session #8369: z/OS Tomcat in an hour - it was mentioned that there were tools called aoedit and aobrowse that would function like oedit and obrowse by automatically converting the file to/from EBCDIC. Sounds very useful, since our site is biased towards ISPF type editing.

I cannot find those tools. I downloaded the atools stuff but still could not find them.

Can you point me as to where I may find them?

Sorry, the IBM Tools and Toys atools package has a number of problems, so we wrote new versions. I've put this on the downloads page.
