Post by ameseguer »

Hi,

Is there a doc with installation instructions for COZBATCH?

Thanks,
Alex.

COZBATCH is packaged in the Co:Z Toolkit installation. The installation instructions are here:

http://dovetail.com/docs/coz/install.html#install_zos

If you are only using COZBATCH, and not the Co:Z Launcher, or SFTP, then you don't need to do anything except the installation (section 2.2 "z/OS Installation") -- no customization is required.

The self-installing .bin file will create the load module PDSE which includes COZBATCH, as well as a PDS for sample JCL.

If you have any questions, please feel to follow up here.

Enter new or existing target PDSE load module library name (SYS1.COZ.LOADLIB):
dmesegu.coz.loadlib

IEW2606S 4B39 MODULE INCORPORATES VERSION 3 PROGRAM OBJECT FEATURES AND CANNOT
BE SAVED IN LOAD MODULE FORMAT.
cp: FSUMF140 IEWBIND function "SAVEW" failed with return code 12 and reason code
83000422

cp: FSUMF140 IEWBIND function "SAVEW" failed with return code 12 and reason code

An error occurred copying the load modules, installation terminated

The load module library must be a PDSE. If you specify the name of a non-existent library, it will allocate a new one for you.
