SMF Recording with the SFTP Client

Post by hroman »

Is there a way to disable SMF recording when using the Co:Z SFTP client? I was able to disable this in the server by specifying NOSMF. However, this option doesn't work with the client.

When I use the client, I get an ACF2 resource violation for BPX.SMF.

Hmm, this should work. Can you post the version of the client (cozsftp) that you're running? You should see this each time you run the client:

Code: Select all

>cozsftp
Co:Z cozsftp version: 1.3.2 (5.0p1) 2009-07-14

Did you export SFTP_ZOS_OPTIONS=NOSMF in the client environment?

This option can't be set interactively; it needs to be set at initialization.
