Transmission mode

When I set up parameters through the sftp-server.rc I cant't change these with a graphical client like WinSCP, right?
Is there a possibility to check the file type and change the transmission mode dynamicly? Like include a table with zones binary: and text:
Like the cozsftp_server_config fixed: and default: areas... Or include a program that is called by every put service...
Or maybe there is a possibility to change the mode in the startet session whith a graphical client?
I think there is no possibility..?

You can set options in WinSCP by navigating to the "/+" folder and renaming one setting to another. Unfortunately, this doesn't get you anywhere since later versions of WinSCP will start a *separate* sftp session for doing the actual transfers.

The free BlueZone graphical sftp client works with Co:Z, you might want to try it.

I tried that but after renaming the files still have the old names, so the old options...

Sound nice, but we can't install software for ourselves. The software is shared from central point and I think they don't will change to an other software.

The variable setting in /+ works fine for me with WinSCP.
Also I tried the BlueZoneFTP Client like you told me. I thought I can click "ASCII" or "Binary" so that I haven't to set it with /+mode= and it will work but it doesn't. Also when I navigate to /+ it don't show me the variables like loglevel=..., mode=... etc.
Is there a setting I have to do that it work or doesn't it work like I suppose?

/edit: I saw following..: I can send commands to the server like ls /+mode=text and then it works. There isn't an other way, is it?
/edit2: OK... I saw the "power key" thing. That's ok. But the normal ASCII or Binary buttons won't work, right? And the question with the pattern file is still there...
